The position in the park, the proximity to nice restaurants, the great breakfast

hotel staff is the best without a doubt. Willing to help. in everything and always with a smile, even though they are working under. quite a lot of pressure with the hotel completely full. I travel a lot, staff at this hotel is the best I've ever encountered. My, uh, congratulations to them.

The price is crazy, totally exorbitant. Hotels that in other cities would cost between 70 and 100 euros, in Cologne, during the Food Fair (anuga), are between 400 and 500 euros a night. But it's not something exclusive to this hotel, it happens all over the city. It's an. abuse. Especially when other fairgoers have paid about 10 times less for an apartment with Airbnb. I don't mind paying a little more for a hotel, but this is ridiculous. It's the most expensive hotel I've ever paid, even though I've been in hotels. Much better than this one.

The breakfast spread was excellent, with homemade pastries and a variety of other options. The location allowed easy access to the city. There were some issues with housekeeping, as they missed cleaning the room on one occasion. The gym facilities were quite limited, which could be improved. A solid experience with a few minor drawbacks.

The property was pleasant with extremely friendly staff at the reception desk, I enjoyed the stay. The hotel was set in a central area just off the Friesenplatz and a beautiful lake and a nice park. It was so close to Mercato Deluxe, where you can have lunch.

we got room with standard decor and a large bathroom to relax.

I loved the large breakfast spread. The cozy bar had great local beer. I found it easy to walk to the city center. I enjoyed renting a bike to explore the area. The warmth inside was appreciated since it was quite cold outside.

I noticed a few older elements in the bathroom. Some parts seemed dated compared to the rest of the renovated room.

Pretty standard and peaceful hotel, we greatly enjoyed it.

The breakfast was savoury with a view to the park, with plenty of perfect options.

Absolutely terrible internet!!!!! I travel 100000 miles a year for my work - Asia, us, Europe and Canada and this was the worst internet I have encountered. I am glad it was free. The poor staff- were really embarassed by it. I cannot reccommend this hotel until they fix the kinternet. Skype was impossible but so was my normal email from my work and family.

I really liked this hotel.

The housekeeping was disappointing . They didn't clean my room for two days, and on the last day, the cleaning staff carelessly threw my dress on the floor at the entrance.

Very friendly and helpful staff and very dog friendly

There was no milk in the room for coffee, despite asking twice for some to be brought up.

the hotel is situated in the MEDIA PARK which is a very beautiful park in the center of cologne. We recieved a room on a high floor - so we could see the all park and up to the dom - which is all a very nice view. the Media park area is very main place - you have restaurants and it is 1 km easy walk from the dom. the hotel is furnished in a nice matter, pretending to be older than it is...the bathroom is quite big.

price of internet very high. No option of opening the windows so there is no fresh air! it was horrible never as there is no circulation of air and you feel like there is not enough air in the room and you have to open the airconditioner all the time which bring non fresh air inside the room and is noisy. for this reason alone I can not recommend the hotel.

The following of my luggages from the airport of Cologne to my room, the welcome of your employees at the reception. The kindness of a woman to print my thalys ticket when she had a lot of things to make at the same time. The patience of these people with my bad english!!! ;)

Wifi cost extortionate. Breakfast also far too expensive. Didn't like that windows could not be opened. Lobby not very stylish.
